GARDEN STATE PADDLE SERIES
is a series of four WPA sanctioned stand up paddleboard & prone race events that will take place in New Jersey during the spring / summer 2017 SUP & prone race season. The Garden State Paddle Series was founded to promote the sport of SUP and Prone racing for all levels and ages in the state of New Jersey. The races that will take part in this year's Garden State Paddle Series are as follows:
RACE - 1: 06-17-2017 Shore Paddle 2017, Oceanport, NJ, Rescheduled
RACE - 2: 05-20-2017 Treasure Island Pirate Paddle III, Riverfront Park, Point Pleasant, NJ
RACE - 3: 07-23-2017 Fish Alley Paddle Fest, Sea Isle City, NJ
RACE - 4: 07-29-2017 What SUP, A Paddleboard Race on the Navasink River, Victory Park, Rumson, NJ

This event features a 5-mile elite race and a 1-mile fun paddle. The proceeds benefit the Unterberg Children's Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center.

Treasure Island Pirate Paddle III is a stand up paddle board & prone race on the Manasquan River that launches from Treasure Island. It features several races, a 7-mile elite race, a 3-mile recreational race, and a kids race. Now in its third year, last year's race attracted close to 200 participants from 11 states. Net proceeds will be donated to benefit the St. Peter School, a local K-8 school.
